Living History

A short docuseries about Ontario's history

Living History is a documentary series that explores parts of Canada’s history that are still visible today. The first season takes viewers to locations around Ontario that have ties to both the past and present and can teach us something about today. It’s a fresh look at stories you know and others you may be hearing for the first time. Episodes of Living History began airing on TVO’s ‘The Agenda with Steve Paikin’ in April 2024.

Featured project:

'Out of the Shadows: An in-depth look at Manitoulin's hidden opioid crisis'

‘Out of the Shadows’ was a six-month project that ran as a rare special section within The Manitoulin Expositor. The multi-award-winning piece features visuals from World Press Photo award winner Giovanni Capriotti and has supported Manitoulin care providers’ efforts to support the most vulnerable islanders.
